EFCC Declares Seun Ogunbambo Wanted Over N976.6 Million Oil Subsidy Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Seun Ogunbambo, Managing Director of Fargo Petroleum and Gas Limited, wanted over an alleged N976.6 million oil subsidy fraud.
In a statement released by the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the anti-graft agency revealed that Ogunbambo was standing trial before the Lagos State High Court but vanished after being granted bail.
Meanwhile, his co-accused, Mamman Nasir Ali and Christian Taylor, were convicted and sentenced to 14 years in prison each on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
The EFCC described Ogunbambo as light-skinned and fluent in English and Yoruba. His last known address is 2 Olamiyuyan Crescent, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Commission urged anyone with useful information about his whereabouts to report to any of its offices in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Gombe, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Benin, Kaduna, Sokoto, Makurdi, Ilorin, Maiduguri, Uyo, or Abuja.
