Ebonyi State Govt Announces Departure Date For 2024 Overseas Scholarship Recipient

The Executive Governor of Ebonyi, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru says that the first batch of the overseas scholarship scheme will depart Nigeria in May 2024.
The Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, stated this while swearing in Special Assistants, Chairmen and Members of reconstituted boards on Monday.
Governor Nwifuru explained that out of 1000 beneficiaries of Overseas Scholarship, 300 will pursue their Masters and Doctor of Philosophy Degrees in any country of their choice, while 700 of them will do same in Nigerian Universities.
” We are planning to establish 39 specialized schools in the State and the idea is that the beneficiaries will be absorbed immediately after their graduation.”
He reiterated his administration stance on delivering quality and effective democratic dividends for the greater good of all.
He called on the appointees to deploy their wealth of knowledge , experience and expertise to bear, in the discharge of their duties.
