Ebonyi Approves ₦3.51 Billion Ultra-Modern Clinic in Government House

The Ebonyi State Executive Council has approved the construction of an ultra-modern clinic within the Government House premises at the cost of ₦3.51 billion.
The decision was taken during the Council’s 9th meeting held on Tuesday, 2 September 2025, and presided over by Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, according to a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Ikeuwa Omebeh, on Wednesday.
The facility, to be executed by PDoings Integrated Services Limited, is intended to serve as both an emergency medical response unit for government officials and a model healthcare centre for the state.
According to the statement, the clinic will be equipped with modern medical infrastructure and technologies, in line with the administration’s vision to improve access to quality healthcare services in Ebonyi.
“This project reflects the government’s commitment to accessible, world-class healthcare and is part of broader efforts to upgrade the state’s health infrastructure,” the statement said.
The clinic is one of several initiatives approved by the Council at the meeting, including new investments in water supply, education, road construction, and economic development.
