Eberechi Eze Joins Arsenal From Crystal Palace

Arsenal is delighted to announce the signing of 27-year-old England international Eberechi Eze, marking a return to north London where his football journey began in our academy before he emerged as one of the Premier League’s most dynamic attacking talents.
Eze joined Queens Park Rangers in 2016 and broke through in the 2019/20 season, earning QPR’s Player of the Year award. He moved to the Premier League with Crystal Palace in 2020, making over 150 appearances across five seasons at Selhurst Park. His standout moment came in May, scoring the winning goal in Palace’s historic FA Cup final triumph over Manchester City.
Internationally, Eze has represented England at youth levels and made his senior debut in 2023. He has since earned 11 caps and was part of the Euro 2024 squad, scoring his first international goal in March during a 3-0 World Cup 2026 qualifying win over Latvia.
Sporting Director Andrea Berta said: “We are thrilled to complete this deal to bring Eberechi to Arsenal. He is a creative, explosive talent with exceptional technical ability and a proven big-game player. His experience at international level also highlights his quality and character. Excellent teamwork across the club has made this transfer possible, and we are confident he will be an important addition as we continue building for success.”
Manager Mikel Arteta added: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Eberechi to Arsenal. He is a powerful, exciting player who will add a new dimension to our attack. Beyond his talent and intelligence on the pitch, his dedication and hard work throughout his career reflect the mentality and ambition we value in our squad. It is clear how much this move means to him and his family, and we look forward to working with him soon.”
Eberechi will wear the number 10 shirt and will join his new teammates after this weekend’s match against Leeds United.
Everyone at Arsenal extends a warm welcome to Eberechi. The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
