Don’t Underestimate Tinubu, Ribadu Warns Opposition

National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has warned critics and opposition figures not to underestimate President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, saying the era of outdated ideas and failed leadership is over.
“We have quality leadership today in our country. Mr. President is a digital President,” Ribadu declared. “People who underestimate him are doing so at their own peril.”
His remarks came as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) accused the Presidency of fabricating claims about a plot to overthrow the government—alleging it’s a ploy to suppress the opposition.
Meanwhile, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, claimed that some APC governors and top officials are secretly backing the growing opposition coalition.
Senator Ireti Kingibe of the Labour Party also confirmed her alignment with the coalition under the ADC, though she maintains her LP membership. In contrast, Senator Abba Moro of Benue South insisted he remains committed to the PDP and has no plans to join any alliance.
