Diddy Found Guilty on Two Counts in Federal Sex Crime Case

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been found guilty on two counts related to transporting individuals for prostitution in a closely watched federal trial in New York. The court, however, acquitted him on three more serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion.
The two guilty counts involved the unlawful transportation of Casandra Ventura (known as Cassie) and another unnamed woman for the purpose of prostitution. Each conviction carries a potential maximum sentence of 10 years, meaning Diddy could face up to 20 years in prison if the judge orders the sentences to run consecutively.
While his legal team is pushing for bail—pointing to his acquittal on the most severe charges—federal prosecutors argue that the convictions still reflect grave criminal conduct.
Combs, who has long denied all allegations, remains in custody as the court prepares for sentencing. Though he escaped conviction on the racketeering and sex trafficking charges, the two guilty verdicts mark a serious blow to his public image and legal standing.
