Delta Woman Alleges Brutal Assault by Soldier Over Short Skirt

A Nigerian woman residing in Delta State has accused a soldier of violently assaulting her for wearing a short skirt.
The allegation surfaced on TikTok, where the user identified as @babygift82 posted videos showing visible injuries she claimed were inflicted by the soldier.
In one clip, the visibly shaken woman displays bruises on her body, with the caption: “Soldier why? Na only me dey wear short things for this life?”—highlighting her shock and pain over the alleged attack.
Several other videos on her page appear to show the aftermath of the beating, including more footage of injuries she claims were sustained during the encounter.
The disturbing footage has sparked public outrage, with social media users flooding the comment section to demand justice and accountability from the military authorities.
As of the time of this report, the Nigerian Army and relevant authorities have not issued any official response to the allegation.
