Deji Adeyanju Rewards Top Law School Graduates With N8m Cash Gift

Abuja-based lawyer and social commentator, Deji Adeyanju, has awarded a total of N8 million to the two best graduating students of the Nigerian Law School in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.
The cash gifts were presented on Friday when the recipients visited the office of Adeyanju’s law firm in Abuja.
Oluwabusayo Ifonlaja, who made history by winning 18 academic awards to emerge as the overall best graduating student, received N5 million. Maryam Abiodun Lawal, the second-best graduating student and best graduating female, who bagged eight awards, was given N3 million.
In a brief message to reporters, Adeyanju said:
“Our firm awarded Oluwabusayo Ifonlaja a cash prize of ₦5,000,000, while Maryam Abiodun Lawal received the sum of ₦3,000,000. Their extraordinary achievements stand as a testament to the power of diligence, discipline, and determination, and future aspiration to future lawyers.”
Both Oluwabusayo and Maryam were among the latest cohort of students called to the Nigerian Bar as Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court earlier this week.
