Davido Surprises Loyal Female Fan with Her Own Shop Amid Online Drama

Afrobeats superstar Davido has rewarded a loyal female fan with a life-changing gift — the promise to open a shop for her, built in her name.
The gesture came after the singer spotted her comment defending him against online trolls. Davido noted that the fan had been a consistent supporter for years, even proudly carrying the “30BG” logo as part of her hair business branding. Touched by her loyalty, he decided to give back in a big way.
“I’m opening a shop for you,” Davido declared, winning hearts across social media.
The fan’s jackpot moment came on a day filled with drama, as Wizkid supporters took shots at Davido online, flooding his comment section with derogatory remarks — some even questioning his global status and mocking his roots.
But Davido wasn’t having any of it. He clapped back unapologetically, throwing jabs at his critics, even calling out their financial struggles and firing shots about their upbringing.
“They said I’m just a local boy from Ede,” Davido scoffed. “Local boy born in the US? Raised in wealth? Please define local again!”
While some questioned his approach, others backed him, saying it was long overdue that he gave his haters a taste of their own medicine.
In the midst of it all, one thing stood out — Davido’s loyalty to those who stand by him. And for that lucky fan, her support just turned into a dream come true.
