Nigerian music star Davido has opened up about a throwback moment from his early hustle days, revealing he once ran errands for Don Jazzy and D’Banj using his billionaire father’s Rolls Royce.

In a resurfaced video shared on X by user @AsakyGRN, Davido was seen smiling as he reflected on how far he has come in the industry.

“In Atlanta, 2007 or 2008 or 2009… In my father’s house, I was freestyling for Don Jazzy and D’Banj. He sent me to go and buy McDonald’s with my papa car — Rolls Royce,” Davido said.

The clip has since gone viral, with fans praising his humility and journey to stardom.
