Music star Davido has reacted to a recent statement by former Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, Timothy Owoeye, who claimed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket is not for sale to the Adeleke family.

In a pointed response shared on his social media page, Davido wrote:
“No be this guy naked for bush?”
The post appeared to mock Owoeye over an alleged past scandal and quickly sparked reactions online.

Among those who reacted was Davido’s cousin, singer B-Red, who was seen laughing in the comment section, dropping laughing emojis in support of the jab.

Owoeye had earlier declared that Governor Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, is not recognized as a member of the APC and dismissed any idea of the Adeleke family securing the party’s ticket for the 2026 governorship election.

His comments came shortly after Governor Adeleke, his brother Dr. Deji Adeleke, and Davido paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu in Lagos—a meeting that fueled defection rumors. The governor’s camp, however, maintained it was just a courtesy visit and reaffirmed his loyalty to the PDP.

With Davido’s fiery clapback and B-Red’s reaction stirring social media buzz, the political tension in Osun is now laced with celebrity drama as the 2026 race begins to take shape.
