Davido Acquires 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Edition

Afrobeats megastar Davido has added another jewel to his impressive car collection — the 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Edition.

The singer recently acquired the ultra-luxurious convertible, making him one of the first Nigerians to own the limited-edition vehicle. The SL 680, known for its striking design and premium performance, is a fusion of sport and sophistication.

It features the iconic Maybach double-M monogram, a handcrafted interior, and a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 585 horsepower. The convertible accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, with a top speed of 260 km/h.

Davido had previously hinted at the purchase after reacting to a video review of the car with the words “Awwww Mehn”, and he has now made it official.
