Customs begins 2025 recruitment exercise

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has officially commenced its recruitment exercise for 2025, assuring Nigerians of a transparent, fair, and free application process.
Announcing on its official X page, the agency warned the public to be cautious of fraudsters who might attempt to exploit unsuspecting applicants during the recruitment period.
It also emphasised that at no point during the process will any fees be required and advised applicants to report anyone demanding payment.
The eligibility criteria require applicants to be Nigerian citizens by birth, hold a valid National Identification Number (NIN), and have no criminal record or ongoing investigations.
Also, all applicants must be physically and mentally fit, with proof of medical fitness from a recognized government hospital.
Academic qualifications for the three cadres include the following:
Superintendent Cadre: Applicants must have a university degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) with an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Inspectorate Cadre: Applicants must have a minimum of a National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from an accredited institution.
Customs Assistant Cadre: Applicants must have a minimum of an O’Level certificate (WAEC or NECO).

Applications will be accepted starting 27 December 2024 and will close on 2 January 2025. Interested candidates are to apply through the official portal at
