Cubana Chief Priest Sparks Reactions After Kneeling Before Shettima

Popular Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu—better known as Cubana Chief Priest—has set social media abuzz following his recent visit to Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima.
The celebrity barman shared photos and videos from the meeting on his social media platforms, capturing a moment where he respectfully knelt before the Vice President. Shettima was seen smiling warmly, as the two exchanged laughter and lighthearted conversation during what appeared to be a friendly and cordial encounter.
The post, which Cubana Chief Priest captioned, “Na my papa be this,” sparked a flurry of reactions online. While many applauded his display of humility and traditional respect, others were quick to question the motive behind the visit.
One Instagram user, @Prince_Nollywood, praised the move, commenting: “Contact na water 💧 Keep making history Odogwu 🔥❤️.”
However, not all responses were positive. User @Gifted_gift12 criticized the gesture, writing: “Joining hands with people who are spoiling our country is no connection but corruption. Don’t spoil Davido for us, abeg. That day is coming, no worry.”
Another user, @Danicoal1, added, “Anywhere belle face, you no get shame.”
