Cubana Chief Priest Defends Kneeling for President Tinubu, Says Critics Are Just Envious

Cubana Chief Priest has responded to the backlash he received after kneeling to greet President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, brushing off the criticism as envy and frustration from those who resent his success.

According to the celebrity barman, his critics are not truly upset about his gesture to the President, but rather pained by his continued rise to prominence. He drew parallels between his experience and that of President Tinubu, saying both faced insults on their journey to achieving their goals.

He maintained that he is unbothered by the negative comments, emphasizing that true success is built through hard work, not empty flattery. Cubana Chief Priest also reaffirmed his loyalty to President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima, declaring his pride in showing respect to the country’s leadership.

“All of a sudden, dem don love me so much that they are hurt CP knelt down for Presidency,” he wrote. “But I know that’s not the real issue. What really pains them is, ‘Why is it always CP?’ So funny how it’s me that knelt down, but it’s your legs that hurt.
