Court remands woman after attempt to cut off boyfriend’s manhood

An Ekiti court has remanded a 20-year-old woman identified as Joy Ikoja, for attempting to cut off the manhood of her boyfriend.
The Police Command the suspect after she reported an inflicted wound on the man of her boyfriend, Ibrahim Usman by tearing his scrotal sac.
“The defendant on the same date, time, and place, did conduct herself in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace in the society” the prosecutor, Inspector Adeboye Adesegun, told the court.
The prosecutor disclosed that the crime committed by the suspect attempting to cut off the manhood of her boyfriend is a crime under Sections 186 and 255 and Sections 256(a) and 181(d), Criminal Laws of Ekiti State of Nigeria 2021.
The Magistrate, Olatomiwa Daramola, however denied the suspect bail even though her lawyer urged the court to grant his client bail.
