Council Chairman Appoints 100 Aides Weeks After Hiring 130 Special Assistants.
The chairman of Obio-Akpor LGA of Rivers state, Chijioke Ihunwo, has appointed additional 100 special assistants, weeks after hiring 130 Special Assistants.
This appointment was disclosed in a post made on X on Saturday, 19 January 2025. It reads: “I have appointed an additional one hundred persons as Special Assistants to help me achieve my plans for my people”.
“Some of the appointees include Augustina Élodi, Obi Chima, Abi Chinazor Clara, Ginikachukwu Onyeagusi, Chigozie Emmanuel Esinulo, Sunday Confidence Onyinyechi, Nworgu Namdi Emmanuel among others”. he added
“I congratulate them, and call on them to serve diligently, in the interest of Obio/Akpor local government. Their appointments takes immediate effect.” he concluded
