Corps Camp Directors Emerge in Lagos Camp

In a highly competitive and rigorous selection process, three outstanding Corps Camp Directors have emerged at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja.
The selected directors, Amuwa Idowu Segun (LA/24B/0004), a graduate of Business Administration from Lagos City Polytechnic, Udebhulu Gideon (LA/24B/0200),a graduate of Computer Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University and Awoniyi Dabira Taiwo (LA/24B/0016), a graduate of Accounting from Babcock University, demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, impressive presentation skills, and gender balance, setting them apart from their peers.
The selection process, which saw ten Platoon leaders vying for the coveted positions, was based on a thorough evaluation of their leadership traits, communication skills, and ability to inspire and motivate their fellow corps members.
The judges were impressed by the candidates’ eloquence, innovative ideas, and passion for leadership.
NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa, praised the Corps Camp Directors for their enthusiasm and dedication to leadership, stating that their participation in the selection process was a testament to their potential to excel.
She encouraged the selected directors to lead by example and inspire their fellow corps members to strive for excellence during their service year.
The Camp Director, Mrs. Oluwakemi Awolola, emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence, effective communication, and empathy in leadership, urging the selected directors to lead with compassion, integrity, and vision.
She expressed confidence in their ability to make a positive impact on the camp and the nation at large.
