Corporate Affairs Commission Delays New Fee Implementation Until October 2025

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced a further deferment in the implementation of revised company registration fees, now set to take effect on October 1, 2025.
This decision follows the Commission’s ongoing efforts to ensure the full stabilization of its newly launched Company Registration Portal.
In a public notice issued today, the CAC emphasized its commitment to service excellence and a seamless transition to the new regime of services.
The new fee structure was initially scheduled to take effect earlier, but the Commission has resolved to prioritize the optimization of the registration portal to ensure it meets global standards and operates efficiently.
This marks the second time the fee implementation has been delayed, with the Commission reaffirming its dedication to providing optimum value to its stakeholders and customers.
The decision reflects the CAC’s focus on building an intelligent, customer-centric registry system, which will enhance service delivery for businesses and entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
The Commission expressed gratitude for the patience, cooperation, and understanding of its stakeholders during this critical phase of transformation, assuring them that these adjustments are designed to benefit all users of the system.
The public notice was signed by the CAC management on August 30, 2025.
