CHILDREN’S DAY: Asaga Calls For Renewed Commitment to Nigerian Children

The Founder of C-SAGAS Group and C-SAGAS Charity Foundation, His Eminence, High Chief Arch. Christian Asaga Nwali (PhD)has extended warm felicitations to Nigerian children, with special emphasis on those in Ebonyi State as Nigeria marks Children’s Day today.
In a heartfelt message released on Tuesday, High Chief Nwali described children as “precious gifts from God” and emphasized the need for collective commitment towards their well-being, safety, and development.
“Today is another day to remind us that children are precious gifts from God. They deserve our love, care, support, and protection. This is our fundamental responsibility and one of life’s greatest privileges,” he said.
High Chief Nwali noted the central role children play in the future of any society, describing them as sources of joy and hope whose dreams must be nurtured with deliberate investments in love, care, and education.
He further described the mission of the C-SAGAS Charity Foundation, which focuses on supporting underprivileged children and helping them unlock their full potential. According to him, the foundation was established “to help care for underprivileged children, enabling them to grow and develop their God-given potential for the better tomorrow.”
In a passionate appeal, the philanthropist called on parents and guardians across the country to make every moment with their children count, urging them to provide environments that are safe, supportive, and conducive for growth.
“Let us invest in the time we spend with our children and the quality of care and support we give to them. Every child needs to feel loved and have a home that is safe and supportive to grow,” he added.
Amid Nigeria’s growing social and economic challenges, High Chief Nwali emphasized the importance of not losing sight of the future, which lies in the hands of today’s children. He called on society to empower children with values, life skills, and an understanding of both their rights and responsibilities.
“In all we are giving, let us ensure that we give our children the values and life skills to live a productive and fulfilling life,” he stated.
High Chief Nwali wished Nigerian children a joyful celebration and reaffirmed his commitment to their holistic development:
“May you enjoy the blessings of today as you grow up to fulfil the promises of tomorrow.”
