CDCFIB Postpones Recruitment Opening to July 14 — Urges Public to Beware of Fraud

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced a shift in the opening date of its recruitment portal for the ongoing nationwide recruitment into its various paramilitary agencies.
In a public announcement released by the board, the new date for the commencement of online applications is now set for Monday, 14th July, 2025, as against the earlier communicated date of Thursday, 26th June, 2025.
The recruitment exercise is intended to attract qualified Nigerians into the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
The board noted that all applications are to be submitted through the official recruitment portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, which will go live on the rescheduled date.
Importantly, CDCFIB stressed that the application process is entirely free of charge. It warned applicants not to fall victim to fraudsters demanding money in exchange for recruitment slots or assistance, as no payments are required at any stage of the process.
“We sincerely regret any inconvenience this date change may cause and appeal to all prospective applicants to take note and prepare accordingly,” the board stated.
The CDCFIB urged the public to share this information widely to prevent misinformation and ensure transparency throughout the recruitment exercise.
