CDCFIB Announces 2025 Nationwide Recruitment Drive: Portal Opens July 14

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of its 2025 recruitment exercise, opening applications to qualified Nigerians across the country.
According to the official notice, the online portal—recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng—will open on Monday, 14th July 2025, and remain accessible for three weeks only.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian by birth
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have a minimum height of 1.65m (males) or 1.60m (females)
- Be physically fit, medically healthy, and free from criminal records
Educational Requirements
Candidates should hold at least an SSCE with 4–5 credits, including English and Mathematics. Those with higher qualifications such as NCE, OND, HND, B.Sc., or higher are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
Applicants must:
- Visit the recruitment portal: recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
- Create an account
- Choose only one agency:
- Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS)
- Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
- Federal Fire Service (FFS)
- Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
- Select a preferred cadre (A, B, or C)
- Complete the application form and upload necessary documents
- Submit and print the acknowledgment slip
Important Notices
- Application is free of charge; no payment is required at any stage.
- Candidates with criminal or financial records will be automatically disqualified.
- Possession of basic computer skills will be considered an advantage.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the next phase of recruitment.
Prospective candidates are advised to apply early and adhere strictly to all guidelines to avoid disqualification.
