Call For Applications: UNILAG Technology Transfer Ambassador Program (TTAP) 2025 ( Stipends+ Mentorship + Certificates of recognition)

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially announced a call for applications for the maiden edition of the Technology Transfer Ambassador Program (TTAP 2025). This initiative, led by the Innovation and Technology Management Office (ITMO), is open to all UNILAG students (undergraduate and postgraduate), early-career researchers, and faculty members interested in innovation and technology commercialisation.
According to ITMO, TTAP 2025 is designed to build strong capacity in technology transfer, intellectual property rights, and commercialisation. Participants will receive hands-on training in licensing strategies and innovation management through expert-led workshops.
“This is a unique chance for innovators at UNILAG to gain real-world experience and drive impact through technology,” said an ITMO representative. “We want to see students and faculty becoming champions of innovation in their respective departments.”
Selected ambassadors will also take up leadership roles as Innovation Champions, organizing seminars, promoting IP awareness, and hosting events. Participants will receive stipends, certificates of recognition, and continuous mentorship from seasoned professionals in both academia and industry.
Another exciting aspect of TTAP 2025 is access to networking opportunities through UNILAG’s 14-university consortium. Ambassadors will collaborate with entrepreneurs, researchers, and other technology transfer professionals to share knowledge and drive impactful projects.
