Call For Applications: Heirs Insurance Essay Competition 2025 for Young Nigerian Students (10.5 million Naira in prizes)

The Heirs Insurance Essay Championship is an annual essay competition open to school students between JSS1 – JSS3 across Nigeria, with the aim of showcasing the creativity and talent of children
Essay Topic: The Role of Insurance in Keeping Families Safe and Secure
Eligibility Requirements
Please adhere strictly to the participation guidelines below, non-compliance will result in disqualification.
- Word count: Not more than 500 words.
- Essays should be typed and not handwritten.
- Students must write their name, school and class on the essay document.
- Document Format: Word document only.
- Students must save their essay document with their full name.
Prizes:
- Winner: N5,000,000 Scholarship.
- 1st Runner Up: N2,000,000 Scholarship.
- 2nd Runner Up: N1,000,000 Scholarship.
- Winner’s School: N1,000,000 Grant.
Teachers’ Insurance Awareness Prize
The Teachers’ Insurance Awareness Prize is Hiers Insurance flagship initiative dedicated to honoring teachers who champion insurance education within their schools and communities. Whether through classroom instruction, community outreach, or media engagement, these teachers are instrumental in fostering a culture of financial literacy and security.
Prizes
- ₦1,000,000 cash prize for the outstanding teacher.
- ₦500,000 grant for the teacher’s school.
How to Enter
- Step 1: Execute an insurance awareness initiative in your school or community (E.g. conduct a training, publish an article, etc).
- Step 2: Ensure that Heirs Insurance Group reflects in your initiative to make it easy for us to track.
- Step 3: Document your initiative by capturing your impact (Pictures, videos, lesson materials, testimonials etc).
- Step 4: Submit your entry.
