Call For Applications: Enugu Magic Labs Animation Training (EMAT) Program, Batch 2

The Enugu State Government, in collaboration with Magic City Labs and Magic Lab Academy, has officially launched Batch 2 of the Enugu Magic Labs Animation Training (EMAT) program. This six-month educational initiative aims to train over 400 Nigerian youths in 2D illustration and 3D motion design, equipping them with high-income digital skills for the growing animation industry.

“Animation is the future, and Enugu is not watching from the sidelines,” said a representative from the Enugu SME Center. “We’ve been so impressed by the progress of our current EMAT trainees, the creativity, the discipline, and the hunger to learn. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Batch 2 is now open!”

Magic Lab Academy, a globally recognized studio, already boasts over 500 alumni working at top studios like Netflix, Disney, and leading African media companies. Their practical, hands-on approach has made them a key player in developing Africa’s animation talent pipeline.
