The C-Sagas Charity Foundation has announced the commencement of the much-anticipated Okpata Ozuo Oha Art and Science Competition, an event designed to discover and nurture outstanding young talents in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
According to a statement from the Foundation, the intellectually enriching program aims to promote academic excellence, creativity, and innovation at the grassroots level by engaging secondary school students in both the arts and sciences.
The zonal stage of the competition will kick off on Saturday, 12th July 2025, simultaneously across five selected secondary schools: Community Secondary School, Ndiagu Echara; Community Secondary School, Noyo Alike; Urban Secondary School, Ndufu-Echara; Community Secondary School, Abina; and Community Secondary School, Eka-Awoke. At each venue, participants will compete in activities designed to test their problem-solving abilities, scientific knowledge, artistic expression, and critical thinking skills.
Outstanding students from the zonal contests will advance to the grand finale, which is scheduled for Saturday, 19th July 2025, at the Ebonyi State College of Education, Ikwo.
The final stage will begin at 10:00 AM and will feature the top performers vying for recognition and awards based on their originality, depth of understanding, and capacity to apply knowledge to real-world challenges.
The Foundation emphasized that the general public is warmly invited to attend both the zonal and final stages. Community members, parents, teachers, and stakeholders are encouraged to show support and inspire the participants as they showcase their talents and pursue their dreams.
“In a time when investing in youth and education is more important than ever, the Okpata Ozuo Oha Art and Science Competition stands as a beacon of hope and progress in Ikwo Local Government Area,” the statement read.
The C-Sagas Charity Foundation reiterated its commitment to humanity and community development, calling on everyone to be part of this transformative educational experience.
