C-Sagas Foundation Donates About ₦10 Million to Support 2025 Ikwo Noyo Nnesweoha

The C-Sagas Charity Foundation, led by its Founder and CEO, High Chief Architect Christian Asaga Nwali PhD, has approved a staggering sum nearing ₦10 million to support the 2025 Ikwo Noyo Nnesweoha Festival, slated for Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Edukfu Noyo Ikwo, opposite Community Primary School, Ekpelu.
The donation, jointly endorsed by High Chief Nwali and his wife, Chief Dr. Mrs. Irene Ugochi Asaga Nwali (Nnediorah Mma), was announced as part of the Foundation’s broader objective of using cultural promotion as a tool for fostering peace and unity across the Ikwo Noyo clan.
According to the management of C-Sagas Charity Foundation, the gesture is a direct response to the request made by the Foundation’s cultural promotion committee, which aims to sustain and celebrate the rich heritage of the Ikwo people through impactful community engagement and support for traditional festivities.
In a message to the people of Ikwo, High Chief Nwali, emphasized the cultural significance of the Nnesweoha Festival, describing it as a unifying celebration similar to Christmas among Christians. He noted that Nnesweoha transcends political and religious boundaries, and called on every Ikwo son and daughter to show compassion by extending a hand of love and generosity to the less privileged.
“The Nnesweoha Festival is more than a cultural gathering; it is a moment of unity, gratitude, and reflection. It brings us together and reminds us that our identity lies in our shared values and traditions,” he said.
The Foundation assured that the donated funds would be transparently utilized for the festival’s preparation and celebration, to the benefit of all Ikwo communities. “We remain committed to promoting peace, love, and community development,” the Foundation declared.
Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Barr. Sunday B. Nwankwo, in partnership with the Traditional Rulers Council, the Ikwo Development Union, and the Central Planning Committee, has formally invited the public to attend the 2025 edition of the Nnesweoha Festival.
The event will feature His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Bldr. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, as the Special Guest of Honour.
Organizers described the Nnesweoha Festival as a thanksgiving event marking the end of the Ikwo calendar year, a celebration of survival, and an expression of gratitude to God for His blessings throughout the year.
