C-Sagas Charity Foundation flags off 2026 Skill Acquisition Programme

The C-Sagas Charity Foundation has commenced its 2026 Skill Acquisition Programme, reinforcing its commitment to promoting self-reliance and sustainable development across communities.
The programme, which brought together foundation members, partners and beneficiaries in Abakaliki, is themed “Empowering Lives Through Skill Acquisition.” It is designed to equip participants with practical skills aimed at improving economic independence and social development.

Proceedings opened with a prayer led by the Coordinator of the Women and Children Group of the foundation, Mrs Ngozi Igwe, who prayed for wisdom, success and positive outcomes for all participants.
In his opening remarks, the State Coordinator of the foundation, Obisi Nweke, described the initiative as a timely intervention in addressing unemployment and economic vulnerability.
He commended the founder of the organisation, Christian Asaga Nwali, for what he described as visionary leadership and sustained commitment to human capital development.
Dr Nweke urged beneficiaries to approach the programme with discipline and dedication, noting that the overall success of the initiative would depend largely on the participants’ willingness to learn and apply the skills acquired.

Speaking on behalf of the programme’s partners, Ifeanyi Nweli expressed appreciation to the foundation’s leadership for sustaining what he described as a transformative initiative.
He said partnerships of this nature were crucial to community development and pledged continued support towards achieving the foundation’s objectives.
Dr Nweli also encouraged beneficiaries to maximise the opportunity provided, noting that it was uncommon to see individuals consistently deploy personal resources towards building a better society.
Representing the beneficiaries, Anyigor Esther thanked the foundation’s founder and management for the opportunity, assuring them that participants would make responsible use of the training to improve their lives and contribute positively to society.
The programme ended with a closing prayer by the Head of the Medical Team, Chinedu Idakari, who prayed for good health, protection and successful outcomes throughout the duration of the training.
