Burna Boy Says He’s Never Been on Vacation Despite Global Fame

In a surprisingly personal revelation, Grammy-winning Afrobeats icon Burna Boy has shared that, despite years of international success and constant travel, he has never taken a true vacation.

During a recent interview, the artist behind hits like Last Last opened up about the relentless pace of his life. When the interviewer pointed out how nonstop his journey has been, Burna responded plainly:
“Look, I have to.”

Asked what downtime even looks like for him, Burna paused before admitting,
“Nah, I don’t know, you know. I’ve never been on a vacation.”

The host, visibly shocked, joked about wanting to see the singer lounging on a beach with his feet in the sand.
“I’ve never seen Burna Boy on a beach just with his toes… I want to see your toes, bro. Not like that—it sounds mad, but…”

Burna laughed off the comment, replying with a grin,
“No, my toes are nice, you know.”

While fans might assume the globetrotting star frequently takes time off in exotic locations, Burna clarified that his only real barefoot beach moments have been in Lagos. He recalled a single trip to Jamaica but quickly added that he doesn’t count it as vacation either:
“That’s home to me too. So I can’t really count that.”
