Brooke Hogan Walks Away From Hulk Hogan’s Estate Amid Past Scandal

Brooke Hogan is grieving the recent passing of her father, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, but she’s distancing herself entirely from any dispute over his multi-million-dollar estate.
Family insiders reveal that Brooke proactively removed herself from his will back in 2023, citing a lack of trust in the people around him and a desire to steer clear of the turmoil she believed would erupt after his death.
TMZ reports that the decision is rooted in a deep rift that began in 2014, when Brooke secretly recorded and leaked audio of her father making racially insensitive remarks about Black men. The fallout nearly ended his career and severely damaged their relationship. Since then, Brooke has remained cautious of his inner circle, convinced that his judgment and finances were being manipulated by those close to him.
Sources say Brooke’s priority was always her father’s well-being, not his fortune. Despite repeated efforts to shield him from what she saw as exploitation, the emotional strain eventually led her to contact his financial advisor and formally remove herself from any claim to his estate.
Although saddened that her father might have doubted her motives, Brooke stands by her decision. Money was never her driving force, and she’s fully at peace with walking away from any inheritance. She will, however, receive a small payout from a life insurance policy, which she intends to put toward her children’s education.
Details about Hulk Hogan’s estate remain unclear, including who will oversee his branding and intellectual property. But for Brooke, the true legacy isn’t measured in assets — it lies in personal growth, hard-earned clarity, and the resolve to leave behind a history marked by pain and division.
