Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport Minna to begin operations in April

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport in Minna is set to commence full commercial operations by April 2025.
Governor Bago made this announcement while receiving Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu; Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande; and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority, Cornelius Adebayo, during a courtesy visit to Government House in Minna.
He said daily commercial flights between Lagos and Minna would begin in April, with operations expanding to Kano by June.
The plan includes deploying 10 aircraft to the Airport, with two dedicated to cargo transport for shipping goods to Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
The governor emphasized that the state government has been collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure safety measures are in place for travelers.
