A Nigerian woman has made a heartbreaking appeal for help after losing her five children and her mother in the brutal attack on Yelwata community in Benue State.

The assault, which took place late Friday night and lasted into the early hours of Saturday, saw armed herdsmen storm the village, leaving a trail of devastation. Reports indicate that over 200 people were killed, with many others injured.

In an emotional video shared online, the grieving mother recounted the horrific events of the night and the unimaginable loss she suffered. Her voice trembling with sorrow, she revealed that her entire family had been wiped out in the attack.

“This lady lost all her 5 children and she also lost her mother at the recent Yelwata Massacre in Benue State.
The pain is deep and piercing.
How do you console someone like this?
How do you tell her to ‘reconcile’ with those who wiped out her family?”

The tragedy has sparked renewed outrage on social media, with many Nigerians demanding justice and urgent government intervention to stop the recurring violence in Benue and other parts of the Middle Belt.
