Stakeholders of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in Ebonyi State have unanimously endorsed Comrade Ibeabuchi Moses Onya, popularly known as IBB, for the position of NANS Senate President.
The endorsement, announced by his Campaign Management Team, followed what was described as extensive consultations and deliberations among key student leaders, union representatives, and stakeholders across the Ebonyi axis.
According to the statement, the decision reflects the confidence and trust reposed in Moses due to his “proven leadership capacity, consistency, and unwavering commitment to the ideals and struggles of NANS.”
Comrade Moses, a Master’s student at Ebonyi State University and the Pioneer Coordinator of NANS Zone F (South East), was praised for his track record in student leadership. The campaign team noted that during his tenure, he strengthened collaboration among student bodies and advanced the welfare and representation of students across the South East region.
The stakeholders described him as a dependable and committed leader whose contributions have significantly impacted the growth, unity, and progress of the student body at various levels.
They further stated that the endorsement serves as both a vote of confidence in his candidacy and a call for greater responsibility in leadership.
The campaign team also called on NANS senators, stakeholders, and student leaders across the country to support Moses’ bid, urging them to align with what they described as a “progressive movement” aimed at strengthening the student association nationwide.
