
A National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Senate presidential aspirant, Moses Ibeabuchi Onya, has extended Eid Mubarak greetings to Muslim students across the country, calling for unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerian students.
In a statement to mark the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, Onya congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, describing the period as one marked by sacrifice, discipline, and spiritual reflection.
He urged students to uphold the values of patience, tolerance, and compassion imbibed during the holy month, noting that such virtues are essential for fostering harmony within the student community and the nation at large.
The NANS Senate presidency hopeful also emphasized the need for unity beyond religious and ethnic lines, stressing that collective effort is key to achieving meaningful progress in the country’s education sector.
