BBNaija’s Angel Smith Recovers ₦17M After Confronting Car Dealer Over Faulty Vehicle

Reality TV star and former BBNaija housemate, Angel Smith, has successfully recovered ₦17 million from a car dealer after causing a dramatic scene over the sale of a faulty vehicle.
The drama began when Angel posted on her status that she would be storming the dealership the next morning—a promise she kept. Upon arrival, she locked the dealership’s gate from the outside, effectively preventing entry or exit, in a bold move to reclaim the ₦19 million she had paid for the car back in May.
In a bid to assert authority, Angel arrived at the premises wielding a koboko (horsewhip), sending a clear message that she was not there to play. While occupying the premises for hours, she continued to post negative reviews and testimonials from other dissatisfied customers, amplifying public pressure on the dealer.
Her efforts eventually paid off. Later that day, Angel announced that ₦17 million had been refunded, but made it clear that she was still owed ₦2 million—and vowed to return to fight for the remaining amount.
“This is just the beginning. I’ll be back tomorrow for the remaining ₦2 million,” she wrote on her status.
Angel’s bold approach to demanding accountability has sparked mixed reactions online, with many applauding her for standing her ground and refusing to be silenced.
