Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Farida Sultana, popularly known as Sultana, has revealed that she was forced into marriage at the age of 15 — an experience she says forged her resilience and determination to reclaim her life.

The disclosure came on Sunday after she won the interim Head of House challenge, ahead of defending her title on Monday.

In a heartfelt conversation with fellow housemate Jason Jae, Sultana shared that she is now a proud mother to two daughters, Aaliyah and Lianora.

“I was married off really young,” she admitted, confirming she was only about 15 at the time. She added that, although the marriage wasn’t her choice, her stubbornness and determination eventually helped her break free. She also revealed that both her children were delivered via C-section.

Her official X account, managed by her team, later highlighted her journey, noting that she built her life “brick by brick” with the love and support of those around her and has fully embraced her story.

Speaking about her daughters, Sultana said, “Aaliyah and Lianora are my world. I love them deeply and cherish them with all my heart.”

She also hinted that her tattoos carry personal significance, describing herself as “like an onion — the more you peel, the more you uncover.”

According to her team, Sultana’s participation in BBNaija goes beyond entertainment; she aims to inspire young girls in Northern Nigeria who face similar challenges.
