Ayra Starr Crowned Nigeria’s Leading Female Artist in 2024

Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayra Starr has been named the top female artist in Nigeria for 2024, according to TurnTable‘s annual end-of-year chart.
Her dominance across streaming platforms, combined with strong radio and TV airplay, cemented her position as the country’s most successful female artist last year.
The Grammy-nominated star achieved this milestone following the release of her second album, The Year I Turned 21, which became the most streamed album on Spotify in 2024 with over 700 million streams.
The album features collaborations with major Nigerian artists like Asake and Seyi Vibez, alongside international stars such as Giveon, Coco Jones, and Aniita.
These collaborations and her consistent performances helped Ayra Starr maintain her commercial success throughout the year.
TurnTable, Nigeria’s only chart publication that tracks streaming, radio, and TV airplay data, highlighted Ayra Starr’s unmatched presence across all platforms, making her a dominant force in the music industry.
