APC Sweeps Lagos Local Council Polls

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in the just-concluded local government elections across Lagos State, clinching all chairmanship seats and nearly all councillorship positions.

According to the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), the APC secured wins in all 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas. The party also won 375 out of the 376 councillorship seats contested in the election.

“The APC won all the chairmanship seats and 375 out of 376 councillorship seats in the 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas in the state,” LASIEC announced on Sunday.
