APC Chieftain Reveals Dalori to Replace Ganduje as Acting Chairman

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ayekooto Akindele, has disclosed that the party’s Deputy National Chairman (North), Bukar Dalori, is set to take over as Acting National Chairman following the resignation of Abdullahi Ganduje.
Ganduje stepped down on Friday from his role as National Chairman of Nigeria’s ruling party. Although the exact reasons for his resignation remain uncertain, some reports suggest it was due to health concerns.
While the APC’s National Working Committee has yet to issue an official statement confirming the leadership transition, Ayekooto announced via his official Facebook page: “Acting National Chairman of the APC, Ali Bukar Dalori.”
Similarly, Bashir Ahmad, a former media aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, indicated that one of the party’s national vice chairmen would temporarily succeed Ganduje. According to Ahmad, the acting chairman will hold the position until a substantive leader is elected at the APC national convention slated for December 2025.
