Annie Idibia Throws Subtle Jab Amid 2Baba’s Engagement to Edo Lawmaker

Actress and media personality Annie Macaulay Idibia, ex-wife of music icon 2Baba Idibia, has stirred online speculation following a cryptic post on Instagram that many believe is aimed at her former husband.
The post read:
“Somebody mad at me because you aren’t suffering the way they expected to.”
Though she did not mention names, the message comes shortly after news broke that 2Baba is now engaged to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru — a development that followed their separation, initially announced in January 2022.
Annie’s post has reignited public interest in their highly publicized divorce, which she officially confirmed during the 17th Headies Awards in April 2025.

The timing and tone of her message have fueled speculation among fans and observers, many interpreting it as a subtle jab or expression of resilience in the face of recent developments in 2Baba’s love life.
