Angela Okorie Reveals She Still Has Bullet Fragments in Her Head From 2019 Gun Attack

Actress Angela Okorie has opened up about the lingering impact of a 2019 gun attack that left her with multiple injuries, revealing that fragments of bullets are still lodged in her head.
In a recent Instagram post, Angela shared a video of herself undergoing medical examinations and disclosed that more fragments continue to emerge over time. The incident, which happened in December 2019, saw her surviving multiple gunshots. Ten bullet pellets were initially removed from her head and two from near her eyes.
She revealed that since the attack, she has battled post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and has had to rely on personal security for protection.
Despite the ordeal, Angela expressed deep gratitude for life and credited her faith for helping her through the trauma. She continues to receive medical care and is using her platform to stress the importance of prioritizing health.
Captioning her post, she wrote:
“Last two weeks have been so hectic, lovers.
It’s been one hospital or the other, running series of tests on my head and body. I haven’t been feeling too well, so my doctor advised complete bed rest. Seriously, good health is underrated.
I went for my checkups, and it was found that there are still fragments of bullet pellets in my head. As the years go by, more still surface. But in the end, it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy. God is with me, no doubt, and may His name be praised. Amen. 🙏 #legitqueen.”
