Angela Okorie Defends Naira Marley Amid Ongoing Mohbad Controversy

Actress Angela Okorie has spoken out in defense of embattled singer Naira Marley, who remains at the center of public scrutiny following the controversial death of his former signee, Mohbad.
In a newly released video, Angela described Naira Marley as a “sweet soul” who once showed her genuine support in an industry she labeled as “demonic.”
She recalled how the singer surprised her on her birthday and even collaborated with her on a song — moments she said left a lasting impression on her.
“The encouragement he gave to me, nobody has ever given it to me in this demonic industry, where people envy others for no reason,” Angela said. “Naira Marley is not a fighter. He’s a very quiet person. He doesn’t talk.”
Her remarks have since stirred mixed reactions across social media, with many questioning the timing and motive behind her public support.
