Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has addressed claims suggesting she was arrested over the alleged cyberbullying of fellow actress Mercy Johnson.

A video had earlier surfaced online showing Angela being escorted by police officers, sparking widespread speculation among fans and social media users. It was alleged that a petition had been filed by Mercy Johnson, prompting police involvement.

Reacting during an Instagram live session, Angela clarified that she was only invited by the police and willingly honored the invitation.

“I was invited and I went there, you know what I mean…” she said, without confirming whether Mercy Johnson was behind the petition or providing further details on the issue.
