American Idol Executive and Husband Found Murdered in $4.5M Los Angeles Home

A top executive on American Idol, Robin Kaye, and her husband, musician Thomas Deluca, have been found dead in what police are investigating as a double homicide inside their $4.5 million home in Los Angeles.
According to the LAPD, the couple—both aged 70—were discovered during a welfare check on Monday afternoon after not being heard from for four days. Authorities believe the incident may have followed a break-in at their residence in the upscale Encino neighborhood.
Both Kaye and Deluca appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds to the head. Kaye was reportedly found in the pantry, while Deluca’s body was discovered in the bathroom.
“There is no suspect information at this time. LAFD responded and pronounced the victims deceased at the scene. The motive is unknown. The investigation is ongoing,” police said.
Robin Kaye was an award-winning music supervisor known for her work on the hit singing competition.
