Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has arrived in Daura, Katsina State, for the burial of late President Muhammadu Buhari.

Amaechi, who holds the traditional title of Dan Amana of Daura, joined other dignitaries and sympathizers who have converged on the president’s hometown to pay their last respects.

His presence underscores the significance of Buhari’s final rites, drawing notable figures from across Nigeria’s political and traditional institutions.

Buhari, who died on Sunday in a London hospital at the age of 82, is being buried on Tuesday in accordance with Islamic rites. His remains were flown into Katsina earlier in the day aboard a Nigerian Air Force aircraft and transported to Daura for interment.
