Airforce Troops Nabs Notorious Kidnapper In Kano State

A 35-year-old high-profile kidnapper known as Isah Abdul, at Durbunde in Takai Local Government Area of Kano State have been apprehended by Troops of the Nigerian Airforce.
A report by Radio Nigeria says;
According to a statement by Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information of the NAF, says the arrest was carried out on Monday in a well-co-ordinated operation, following credible intelligence on the hideout of the notorious Kidnapper and his boys who were responsible for several kidnapping incidences in the area.
The statement states that preliminary investigation has since showed that Isah Abdul and his gang were responsible for the abduction of one Yakubu Ibrahim Tagaho in April last year from his residence.
The victim was, however, released a month later after a ransom of thirty million naira was collected.
In December last year, the same criminal abducted two sisters and three others in the same village and released them after collecting a huge ransom.
The statement points out that he is also responsible for several other kidnapping activities as he has strong ties to other known kidnapping gangs like the Danbul Fulaku gang that also operate in Takai LGA.
The statement adds that Isah Abdul is currently in the custody of the Nigerian Airforce, still undergoing investigations and will soon be handed over to appropriate authorities for further proceedings.
