Radio broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat has publicly apologized to singer Naira Marley and announced that Agidigbo FM will once again play his songs, ending a two-year ban on Marlian Records music.
In September 2024, Hamzat barred the station from airing Naira Marley’s songs after controversy over the death of former Marlian signee Mohbad, amid allegations that Marley was involved.
With Marley now cleared of wrongdoing, Hamzat admitted he was wrong to believe otherwise and apologized for the earlier decision. He confirmed that Agidigbo FM would resume playing Naira Marley’s tracks immediately.
