Nigerian actress Adunni Ade has dismissed viral reports suggesting she admitted to being unable to find a partner despite her physical attractiveness.

Over the weekend, several blogs circulated claims that the 48-year-old actress blamed her single status on her beauty — a narrative she has now strongly denied.

Taking to her Instagram page, Adunni Ade condemned the reports and warned those responsible to retract the false story or face legal consequences.

She wrote:
“I kindly request you to take down this post within 24 hours to prevent further action involving my legal team.
I don’t appreciate the fact that you are using my name to peddle false news and articles with no verifiable source just to generate engagement.”
