Actress, Biola Bayo Confirms Separation From Husband, Vows Peaceful Co-Parenting

Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has announced her separation from her husband, Oluseyi, revealing that the couple has been apart since April 2024. She shared the news in a heartfelt Instagram post on Tuesday while celebrating his birthday.
“Happy birthday to my ex-husband and my baby daddy,” she wrote. “I pray that grace will abound unto you. I pray you find peace in all your ways. May God continue to light your path and bless you beyond your expectations in Jesus’ name.”
Biola confirmed that although their marriage has ended, they remain committed to raising their son together in love and mutual respect.
“Yes, you heard me right. My husband and I have been separated since April last year, but we have decided to maturely and peacefully co-parent our dear son who means everything to us,” she said.
Addressing her fans, the actress expressed deep sorrow over the situation and apologized to those who may be disappointed by the news.
“I sincerely wished it worked, but it’s better to stay alive to tell the story. Please keep us in your prayers,” she added.
Opening up about the emotional toll, Biola revealed that while she often brings joy to others, she’s been privately grieving for over a year.
“My pillow has been drenched with tears almost every night for the past 14 months, but I gain strength from Christ who loves me eternally and gave Himself for me,” she shared.
She concluded with a reminder to treat others with compassion: “Let’s learn to be kind. You have no idea what people are going through until they tell their story. SAY UNTO THE RIGHTEOUS, ALL IS WELL! PEACE ✌️”
