Abuja to Host ₦6 Million Youth Talent Hunt for Innovators in IT, Agriculture, and Creative Enterprise

Abuja will take centre stage for a major entrepreneurship drive as the Abuja hyprepares to award over ₦6 million in cash prizes alongside mentorship, training, and investment opportunities for young innovators.
The initiative, organised by Abuja Investments Company Limited in collaboration with the Abuja Enterprise Agency, is designed to transform viable ideas into sustainable businesses by equipping entrepreneurs with essential skills, market access, and financial backing.
Open to Nigerians aged 18 to 35, the programme will focus on three fast-growing sectors: Information Technology, Agriculture, and Creative Enterprise. Shortlisted participants will undergo business plan development training, pitch presentation coaching, and one-on-one mentorship from industry leaders and seasoned investors.
Cash prizes for winners in each category stand at ₦1 million, ₦750,000, and ₦500,000 respectively, with further access to investment funds and credit facilities valued in the millions.
The five-stage competition will run from August 20 to September 24, 2025, starting with a nationwide call for entries and ending with a high-profile grand finale where finalists will present their ideas before a panel of expert judges. Organisers say the programme goes beyond prize money, aiming to tackle persistent SME challenges such as inadequate financing and limited market reach through post-event monitoring, networking opportunities, and continuous support.
With Abuja ranked as Nigeria’s top city for ease of starting a business, organisers believe the city offers the right environment to inspire innovation, create jobs, and boost economic growth. Registration is open from August 11 to 20, 2025, via aythunt.abujainvestments.com, with the Abuja Enterprise Agency in Jahi, Abuja, serving as the venue for the event.
